Uplighting is the foundation of event lighting design: fixtures placed at the base of walls, columns, and architectural features that wash the room in color. It is the single most cost-effective way to take a space from "rented ballroom" to "designed event."

We design uplighting as a complete ambient look, not a row of random colored lights. Warm candlelit amber for an elegant dinner, a saturated brand color for a product launch, or a scene that shifts from soft reception tones to rich party colors after the entrées clear.

Every venue takes light differently. White walls carry color across the room; dark wood absorbs it; textured stone comes alive under a grazing angle. Before your event we review your venue, and most Los Angeles ballrooms, hotels, and event spaces we already know from experience. We place fixtures where they flatter the architecture instead of fighting it.

Because our uplights are wireless and battery-powered, we can light spaces other companies can't: historic venues with no accessible power, tented lawns, museum spaces with strict cabling rules, and rooftops.

Uplighting & Ambient: Questions We Hear Often

How many uplights does my event need?

A typical ballroom looks finished with 20 to 40 fixtures, spaced every 6 to 10 feet along the walls. Send us your venue name and guest count and we'll recommend an exact fixture count with your quote, usually within one business day.

Can the uplighting match our brand or wedding colors?

Yes. Our LED fixtures are color-mixed on site to match a Pantone reference, a bridesmaid dress swatch, or a logo. We confirm the exact tone during setup, before doors open.

Do you need power outlets at the venue?

No. Our uplights are wireless and battery-powered, rated to run longer than your event. There are no cables to tape down and nothing for guests to trip over, which is also why venues love working with us.
